I would really dig a reissue of that groovy, far-out musical trip known as Woodstock. Perhaps including an audio commentary by Michael Wadleigh. Does anyone know if this is on Warner's slate?

It isn't, and while the current disc has a nice 16x9 transfer, I'd certainly ADORE a re-release. Its 225 minute running time would be rather tough to compress to a DVD-9, but a two DVD-9 release, with a break at the intermission (as you may know, the current flipper ends at the Crosby Stills & Nash piece before Ten Years After, and THEN the "interfuckingmission" for some odd reason; at the 125 minute mark it still could have fit). In addition to the commentary, an additional documentary covering the set up of the filming to the mixing and editing would be amazing. Other than that, this film is a special feature unto itself.
