What kind of wood should my box be built for my 15' subwoofer? It will also be ported.

MDF or void free plywood.

MDF, might be heavy to work with, but if done properly will be rock solid and it's soo soo cheap.

Well, a 15-foot subwoofer will be REALLY heavy if you use MDF!
