Wood vs Carpet (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys im new to this board and have many helpful things on it. Im on the last leg of my HT project and trying to decide wood laminate flooring or go with carpet with pading under it for the floor.. Anybody who has had any likes or dislikes with either your imput would help

Carpet.

The fewer hard surfaces to reflect sound, the better.

My theater room is the only downstairs room with carpet. It was put in for acoustical reasons only.
