I don't think so. Frankly, I think it was a pretty one-sided relationship. Particularly towards the end, she seemed like she could take him or leave him.

BTW, the girl who played Becky Slater--Crystal McKellar, Danica's real sister--is gorgeous these days. At least, from the one recent photo I've seen.

A piece of Winnie?? This isn't porn you know. But no, he doesn't get "a piece" of Winnie, they do make out a couple of times though.
Also, a season by season DVD release of this show would be amazing. I simply love it (especially "Goodbye" where his math teacher Mr. Collins (Steven Gilborn) dies). I just wonder what the music situation on this show is. On the currently available best of discs a lot of music (including the Joe Cocker theme) has been replaced due to rights reasons. This show must be a nightmare to clear (even worse than Quantum Leap).

I love the Mr. Collins episodes. Goodbye in particular. Another one I really liked was where Maia Brewton plays a "nerdy" girl who is interested in Kevin. He ends up taking her to the dance (and she looks great when she comes to the door) even though he's interested in another girl. If I remember correctly, he ends up throwing Maia overboard for the other girl, who isn't even interested in him. The fool! Maia was cuter than the other girl, in my opinion, and her character had a great personality. But, to be honest, Kevin was often a little creep.

I think this would be a major hurdle. I don't see how they could clear all the music. Quick poll: would you buy it if the music was replaced? I'd have to lean towards "no."

You heard right. It's awful. Sound isn't much to write home about either. I just bought them because they were a) very cheap and b) in English (Wonder Years, as everything else, is dubbed in Germany).

In other words, he was pretty much like every adolescent male. This is why the show works so well, particularly for those of use who grew up in the time period portrayed.

If this is true it's a must-buy for me as well.
