i finally started to dip into the first WW disc, and was able to finally get used to the pitch difference.
i'm tmepted to order the second volume, but am disappointed to see there haven't been any new volumes in the last 6 months-
anybody know the scoop on these?
    was this it?
between this and the Bionic Woman going kaput after 3 discs, seems like none of my favorite shows can get a break.

I guess it depends on sales of these DVD's. Some companies release these "tester" discs to get a look at the potential market. However companies also know that more people will buy complete seasons for £40.00 than 3 episodes for £12.00. The show is owned by Warner Brothers yeah? If Kung Fu, Dukes of Hazzard etc sell well in boxset form I'm sure they'll release this in the future. [IMG]

From where did you order these discs? And, what is meant by "pitch difference"?

    Thanks.

    i ordered from Amazon.co.uk

    blackstar also carries them.

they come out to about $20 each with the rate exchange and shipping

the difference in pitch is due to the slightly sped up frame rate of Pal material. consequently, the voices have a slightly higher pitch.

Terrific--as if that voice of that pesky little office robot dog or whatever in seasons 2 & 3 wasn't irritating enough![IMG]
