well this was out of the blue- i never expected top see this series hit disc before a theatrical version, but Warner said to look for it before the end of the year.

just in time as i was contemplating ordering the second volume in the R2 series (at almost $30 with shipping- ouch!)

i just hope Warner has seen the light and is commited to a full season set and not a little best of disc.

Cool! It'll be fun to see the show again... all I really remember is the way she'd spin around and around when she transformed. I loved that. [IMG] Hey, I was an infant - babies like spinning things. [IMG]

I haven't seen this since the days when FX (at least, I think it was on FX) was actually a good station!

    Cool!

I tell you...it was a long shot asking that question last night because I figured that I would be told that maybe...just maybe...if they get a feature length film out, but to be told that before the end of this year we would have the Amazon Princess on DVD in the state...GREAT HERA!

Hopefully, these are done in season boxes. (This and Paramount putting out "Laverne and Shirley" this year...I am very happy!!!!)

According to TV Tome, the first season of "Wonder Woman" was only 14 episodes (this was the season that took place during World War II), which means a only 3-4 DVDs, a lower price, and hopefully good enough sales to ensure that Season 2 and Season 3 will make it to DVD.

For the sake of completeness, TV Tome technically lists a 90-minute pilot episode, then 13 Season 1 episodes, 22 Season 2 episodes, and 24 Season 3 episodes.

I will buy this the day it is released!

I hope our R1 covers look better than that.

This show did work best as a WWII period piece. I'm gonna need the subtitle feature to finally understand what that irritating little robot dog running around the IDC offices was saying!

Keep in mind that those releases in the UK are from the second season and not the first.

Read yesterday on TVShowsonDVD that Lynda has recorded a yack track for the pilot of the series. Should be interesting to hear her perspective of things after all these years if such is true.

Yep, she was there! She donned the costume once more! I couldn't believe my eyes.

Actually, that wasn't Lynda Carter in the costume. After winning the award, Lynda did her famous "twirl" backstage, then a look-alike in the Wonder Woman costume ran through
    the auditorium.

Oh, that's sad. I thought she was wearing most of the costume underneath her normal clothing and since it was taped (wasn't it taped?), they had the ability to make it look like a seamless transition.

Her acceptance speech was kinda kooky! [IMG]

The TV Land Awards will be repeated Friday night, and likely several times after that.

I should have known that she wouldn't squeeze back into the costume.[IMG]

Well at least I have the DVDs to look forward to. It's been a good 6-7 years since I last saw this on the Sci-Fi Channel.
