Just curious if they are accelerating this set. I love this show now that I've gotten into it and am loving Angel too!

Anyone know when S2 of Angel is due out?

    S2 of Angel in September

Buffy Season 2 came out in May, so this is not indicative of any speedup. I HAVE heard RUMORS of season 5 for Christmas, but even if it doesn't, it'll be out 2 weeks later anyway

    Buffy Season 1 - January 2002
    Buffy Season 2 - June 2002
    Buffy Season 3 - January 2003
    Buffy Season 4 - June 2003
    Buffy Season 5 - ?

I would assume if the pattern continues, you can expect to see Season 5 in early January 2004. For those who are watching these episodes for the first time, I sincerely hope they do speed up the release because Angel Season 2 is due out in September and the last scene of the season finale all but gives away the ending to Buffy Season 5.

Jeff, Season 2 of Buffy hit JUNE 11, Season 4 is due JUNE 10 2003.

It's likely that they'll pump out Season 5 of Buffy JANUARY 6, or 13th 2004.

    I'd guess the 6th.

FX skips episodes. Pisses me off.

Dan, should've started watching it earlier then, when they were required to show them properly [IMG]

Shoulda, but didn'ta. They seem to skip about 2 per season for no apparent reason.

Dan, which episodes were skipped on FX? It seems to me they just showed all of season 4 in order and so far the episodes of season 5 seem to be scheduled complete and in order. Maybe the list of episodes I have is in error.

Of course, the DVD's are much preferable to the logo-bugged and advertisement-filled versions on FX. As they make these ads more flashy, blinking and otherwise intrusive, I can't help but wonder how low they'll eventually go with corrupting their shows.

If you're talking about season 6, UPN still holds rights to a few eps including OMWF

Since we're talking about the sets in general, can I ask: Is there some card or something that indicates which episodes have special features?

I seem to be missing it. The only way I've found to learn which episode has a commentary track, for example, is to go disc by disc searching.

Is it written somewhere? I have sets 1 2 and 3.

Not that I know of. It's best to go to a review site that has reviews. They're pretty good about describing which episodes have the special features.

Also, anyone else love the little inserts for future sets? I think that's really cool. [IMG]

I'm aware of the problems with season 6, but in season 4, they skipped "A New Man" for instance.

I've been trying to hold off on watching Angel S1 until Buffy S4 comes out (I haven't seen either on TV). Don't know if I'll be able to make it...
