Ebay and Ubid often have refurbished Harman Kardon AVR-120 and 220s. I have heard that the _20 line had some problems and therefore there have been a lot of refurbs. My question is: Was the problems fixed when they refurbed them, or will the same problems happen again? I really like the HK sound, look, and the features. I really like the logic7. Also they offer a lot of inputs compared to similar priced receivers from other companies. SO the main question here: WOuld you purchase a refurb HK 120/220 if the price was right (about $200)???
Any help is appreciated.

As long as a "refurb" unit carries the same warranty as a new unit then I'd definintely get one. As a matter of fact ac4l.com sells refurbished Marantz receivers, I'm looking at an SR8200 and I'd rather get one from them than go spend 25% more for the same item with the same warranty.

I presently have two refurbed H/K's: a 310 and 510. Used to have another 510 as well. Original warranty and the fact that they've been to the service outlet for any previous problems and now meet spec are 2 great reasons to purchase. Price makes reason #3.
