I'm trying to figure out the best way to wire my theater to support a PS2 or other game machines. We have a ceiling mounted front projector, and have all of our equipment housed in a separate closet. My thought was to place a wall jack near the screen and run component cables from the jack to the closet. That should take care of video; however, I'm not sure of the best approach to handle audio. I would like to pass a digital audio signal but the PS2 has optical digital and I don't know of a good solution to wire the walls to accommodate.

Any suggestions or have others found alternative methods to host their game system with a front projector and a remote equipment closet?

    Thanks

Have you looked into wireless gamepad options. That way the audio can be hooked into your receiver and stored in the closet with the rest of your equipment.
