Is there a wireless device for connecting a subwoofer that would eliminate the need to use cable? Wireless connection would greatly enhance my flexibility in placing a sub in just the right spot. I don't have carpet, so running cables along the wall is my only option and greatly limits where I might place a sub.

I noticed there is a wireless device for the "Buttkicker" - will it work with a subwoofer, or do you give up too much fidelity?

It should work with the sub. Call buttkicker and order one. They are only around $25 or so. I use it with my butkicker and tried it on my sub once and it seemed to work ok. Good Luck
