The two record-setting miniseries will be coming to DVD (from MPI) msot likely within the next year in multi-disc sets with interviews, behind the scenes footage and extras. No street dates yet as they're still being worked on and developed but they should be quite a satisfying DVD package. Definitely a must when they come out.

From MPI? Then you just know they will be the old transfers. They could never afford to do new transfers for so many hours of television.

Excellent!! These two on both on my short "must-buy" miniseries list. Now if we can just get "Shogun" & "Roots"...
I'm glad they're coming out next year, this fall is gonna kill me at it is. [IMG]

Depends on price for me I guess. I have both on VHS and don't watch them very often. I personally want MPI to do Becket much more than these.

I will probably pass on War and Rememberance. IMO, this was not as good as Winds of War. I was disappointed with the casting in both movies. I loved both books and had imagined different people in the key roles.
