This is a question for gamers out there. I recently reformatted the 2 computers in my small home network and did a clean install of XP Pro. I have a Pentium III 750MHZ and a 1.2GHZ Athlon. I set everything up and was back online in no time. I love XP! Now onto my question: I re-installed my Half Life on both machines and the PIII ran fine(played some net games with no problem). When i went to join an internet game on my Athlon machine it boots me out right after i connect to the server and give me the following error message: NET_SendPacket Error:WSAEINTR Does anyone know what this means? It also happens when i try to enter a LAN game with my PIII machine. I have played this game on my network for years without a problem. There are no big differences between the 2 machines except the proccesors. I have even tried the compatibility mode but no luck. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions? I would appreciate any help.
