I need a TechHead! How can I play a 30-second streaming media clip without pauses? I am running WMP, version 6.4.07.1124, which is the latest version for Windows NT 4.0. Can I change the buffer for Streaming Media? It’s currently set at “5 - seconds of data”.

Didn't really want to make any changes without getting some feedback, as this is a company PC. But, went ahead and changed the buffer to 30 seconds(max). This seems to have corrected the problem. Does take longer for the clip to load, but it's easily worth the trade off! Hope it doesn't cause any other issues.

John - You did the right thing! S[IMG]

The buffer setting just uses a bit more memory, and makes it take longer before starting the playback. This is neccessary on slower machines and/or network connections.

Doe'snt really cause any other problems that I know of.
