WINDJAMMER (MORTON GOULD) Soundtrack question (1 Viewer)

Was this music ever released in stereo? Al Lp copies I have seen listed are mono or, in the case of the Columbia issue, "Electronically re-channeled to simulate stereo." This was a "CineMiracle" presentation (similar to Cinerama, I think), and I am quite certain sported a stereo soundtrack on film, yet the album that has been spawned from that doesn't seem to be true stereo. Does anyone have any info about why this might be?

I have the vinyl of WINDJAMMER and it is in stereo. I sure wish there was a cd of it although I did download the vinyl into my I-Tunes.
I was fortunate to see WINDJAMMER (the last surviving "Cinemiracle" print) at the Seattle Cinerame a few years ago.
