I just purchased a 53" Panny a few hours ago. [IMG] (Gotta rearrange the HT tomorrow and fire it up)
Anyways, I've been pondering making a PC into a dedicated Mp3 box and have it hooked up in my HT. I'd also like to get a good video card with tv out on it and maybe hook it up to the widescreen to view the Winamp Visualization programs.
Has anybody ever done this and is it a good idea? Would it be a serious candidate for burn-in?

I do this with my HTPC -

My favorite Winamp visualization plugin is called "Milk Drop". This one moves so much, I doubt you'd ever get phosphor burn...

The biggest thing to remember with a HTPC, is to keep a good screensaver active, that way you dont accidentally leave your desktop up....
