Oh man, I've been using a beta version of winamp, and now the full release has come out, ITS AMAZING...

Download that and the MMD3 skin, swweeeeet...

Its the best of three and two combined... Its sleek, quick, but looks great... Aweeesome...

hmm, winamp 3 was one of the most unreliable and buggiest programs i have ever used. hopefully, those aspects of 3 are gone. i'll check it out, with trusty old winamp 2.95 to back me up!

Trust me, you'll love WA5, before this I loved WinAmp2.9

seems pretty good so far, i am liking the lyrics remover built in. doesnt work well for some songs, but it works a little too well for others.

The main reason I just downloaded it was because it allows me to listen to AC3 tracks (after installing the AC3Filter plug-in).

ctrl-p for preferences, then under the plugins section, click on dsp/effect, it is in nullsoft signal processing studio, fool around with that a little bit, it is in there somewhere. pretty interesting, but dont forget to turn it off!

It's not bad, certainly nowhere near the huge resource hog of Winamp 3.

I prefer Foobar2000 myself though - no frills, no glitzy graphics, just a very solid MP3 player.

Wow, didn't even know 5 was a priority yet. Seems their release intervals are far spread. So long for 3, now already 5?!

    I'll check it out.

There were problems with 3? I never had any. It takes a while to load up once in a while, but oh well. I'll give this 5 a try. I'll also try out foobar since it just sounds cool.

Constant crashes. And I mean CONSTANT. For no reason at all even, it would just crash in the middle of playing a song.

Holy Jebus, my kbps change at an extra-ordinary rate with my CDEX made files. I'm getting car sick just lookint at it. One thing I haven't figured out how to do is to enqueue instead of replace things I double click on it. But I shall figure it out. Maybe the lite version doesn't offer this feature.

edit: ahh, found it... it's in the Files Types this time.
