Over a year ago it was mentioned that The Love Boat will be released, sometime in 2006.Earlier this year,I heard to expect it sometime in August.Well we're in mid September now and, obviously,no Love Boat. Will we see this released in time for the holidays,or is this another example of Paramount putting out word and not following through?

I'm wanting this one as well, especially the early seasons. No word that I've heard yet about this release. I figure, with Fantasy Island released (S1 only so far), that the Love Boat "Soon Will Be Making it's DVD Run" to Port "R1-Release" soon [IMG]

Although it's been almost a year since Fantasy Island came out with no sign of that continuing. I wondered if the multiple guest stars is a problem for a Love Boat release, but really it's no different than FI or several other shows. The first season with the pilot movies would be nice to have.

I'd love to get The Love Boat. A show like that we don't see on the air anymore so I'd pick it up.

I hope Paramount live up to their word and release this in time for the holidays, though I won't be the least bit surprised if they don't.I think this will sell because it was a popular show and had guest stars from every imaginable tv show, that was on at the time,so you draw in the fan bases of all those shows. To borrow a part of a lyric to The Love Boat, "You had something for everyone". Oh great. Now that song will be in my head all night! [IMG]

I'd have to be in for the purchase of a Love Boat release. Wife was a HUGE fan!

How nice of you to dredge up a three-month old thread just to crap on it.

I think the Love Boat "Soon will be making another run" [IMG] , unless she's run aground in the "legal rights" reefs. It's just taking that liner a long time to get back to port.

It is odd, I dreamt of this last night and did not see this thread on the 18th. I think it will be here this coming year.
