Seeing as how Attack of the clones was the first movie filmed with Digital cameras, film, ect., will that translate into a superior DVD like nothing we have seen before?
As I've mentioned on another thread, the French live-action movie "Vidocq" was also filmed digitally, and a digital-to-digital transfer DVD has already been released in France. The disc contains English subtitles and I would recommend it, both as a movie and as a digital-to-digital demo disc. However, you will need to be able to play R2 PAL.
The other thread discussing Ep 2 digital-to-digital transfers (which also contains my comments on the Vidocq disc) is at http://www.hometheaterforum.com/htfo...threadid=70620

I'd be more than happy to see an extended cut, but I'll look forward just to having the theatrical edition on DVD.

I hope the deleted scenes are restored to the movie. I would love to see Dooku's backround scene and two Saber duel.

Keep the movie as is, please!! I don't want anything else, Greedo shooting first, the wampa eating the taun taun, the sarlacc getting a beak.

And how can anyone know if the original cut was 4 hours, aside from any internet rumor?
