Will there be a Denon AVR-4803? (1 Viewer)

......Just wondering. I'm of the opinion that there probably won't be, and that Denon will probaly go straight to the 4804 next year sometime. This wouldn't be unusual since there wasn never a Denon 4801 or for that matter, a 5801 or 5802. I just think there probably isn't much to upgrade at this point on the existing 4802 other than the Denon link and a higher bandwith for component switching, and since they just released the 3803, the improvements probably wouldn't be significant enough to justify an all new model at this time. All imho of course.

Reggie, I haven't heard a formal announcement for a '4803, but some folks here have been talking about one. Perhaps that was more wishful thinking than anything concrete.
This thread really belongs on the Receivers/Separates/Amps board.
