I'm really interested in purchasing the Sony CE775 CD/SACD player. Will this player make a good SACD player or will I do better going to a more expensive player? for those with expierence with this player does it do multichannel and play SACDs well(with decent quality?)

Keith, whether in multi-channel or stereo, the 'CE775 is a quality SACD player for $180-200. However, if you can spend more, yes, you will get a better player. For example, if you can spend $380, get the Sony SCD-C222ES multi-channel SACD changer from J&R Music World (1-800-221-8180). It is a better CD and SACD player, is built better than the 'CE775, and comes with the five-year ES warranty. I feel the 'C222ES sounds better with CDs and SACDs, but the difference is especially obvious with CDs. It all comes down to how much you are willing to spend. The 'CE775 certainly isn't garbage, but the extra $180-200 gets you a better player in the 'C222ES.
