Will the Avia disc work in my R2 player? (1 Viewer)

I suspect that Avia won't work for you, or at least a lot of it won't. The video test stuff is all NTSC - I don't know what a PAL TV would end up looking like if you tried to calibrate it using NTSC test patterns, but I can't imagine that the results would be good. The audio portion should work fine, but I doubt that alone would justify the expense.
