My heavens Steve Reeves films have been treated so badly its a shame-will we ever see them released in quality copies? Legit releases?

Has there been a lot? Usually on Herc and the Sequel but he ,ad a lot of films! Just checked mostly Herc!

If you have a region free player, you might want to look overseas. I have region 2 blu rays of Duel Of The Titans and The Thief Of Bagdad and a DVD of The Last Days Of Pompeii. All very nice transfers. Warner Archives MOD program have Sandokan The Great and The Slave (aka Son Of Spartacus) available.

Since the french dropped the ball, both titles have fallen into the pits of hades!!!

In answer to the thread title, I’d say they already received the love they deserve.

But seriously, they have their fans and so hopefully will get a much needed restoration soon.

I just asked the head honhco the programmer for TCM if he knows who owns the rights to Herc films ---- might just know - fyi same source relayed Hellzapoppin legally cleared for home video a couple of years ago
