I picked up this dvd starring Charlton Heston as an aging cowboy pursued by a group of unsavory characters led by Donald Pleasance as a unbalanced ( psychotic?) "preacher". It may prove a bit too slow for some but anyone who appreciates a very good character film will certainly enjoy this. I had never heard of it before but it hopefully will receive more exposure now that Paramount has released it on dvd. It also contains two featurettes with Heston reminiscing in both. Definitely recommended.

I agree, this was a great movie, as I mentioned in my review
I probably enjoyed this as much as The Outlaw Josey Wales, one of my favorite Eastwoods. I usualy find Heston to be too theatrical for my tastes, but he did a great job in Will Penny.
