I have an Onkyo TX-DS676 receiver and my friend has the TX-DS777, but he lost his remote. I was going to just sell him mine and upgrade to the Sony RM-AV3000 or the RM-AV2100, but will the 676 remote work for the 777 receiver? Thanks in advance!

The 676 and 777 share the same remote as well as owners manual. The 777 has a little more power and is THX certified. The remotes are identical so the answer to your question is yes, it will work .

Ted-Bingo. He is not nearby my area (which I should have mentioned to lessen the confusion). Chris-thanks-I should have known that from the owner's manual (doh!). But I think he's hooked on getting a Pronto (probably a good thing he lives far away from me or else if I use it I'll want one too [IMG] )
