HTF has always been great about their online chats with individual studio reps. Now, with the unfortunate demise of Dave's Video, will HTF consider taking over hosting duties for the annual Studio Day which brings several reps out at once to discuss the upcoming year's releases?

Nice thought and suggestion but Ron and I neither have the resources or the place to host such a thing. If something ever comes of being to host such a thing believe me all will know about it.

Maybe DVD Planet could host it now? They are moving to a bigger location down Beach Blvd.

I am not sure. Studio Day was something that Dave's did for years. Dave and Linda set this up and now that they are closed it is going to depend on another store to figure out if it something that they want to do. We didn't have anything to do with it except to show up a couple of times.

To be honest, I would love to help take over
the reigns and continue to provide a yearly Studio
    Day in Los Angeles.

Perhaps we can talk to some retailers out there
and see if they are willing to host such an event.

If we had the financing, we would take this one
step further and host a yearly convention that would
put Studio Day on a grander scale. All of that takes
    finances we don't have.

I think it is important that an event like Studio
Day continues. If anyone has any contacts of retailers
in the Los Angeles area that may be interested,
perhaps we can get the ball rolling for an event later
    this year.

Send all information to me via private email.

    Regards
