Let me preface this by letting you know I'm not using balanced lines...

My question is will any high quality composite cable work for connection or must it be 75ohm (like digital coax)?

All of my interconnects are currently Acoustic Research HT Pro Series...just wanted to know if their Pro Series RCA Composite cables will work, or if I should opt for their digital coax cables.

Thanks again fellas.

Yeah it's the same stuff- 75Ohm coaxial, as long as the Composite cable is 75Ohm coaxial. Component, Composite & digital audio coaxial is the same cable.

Yes, what you have are video cables, which are 75ohm coax, which is what you need for digital coax, or any video application. You can also use these for analog audio with no problem. However, analog audio need not be 75ohm, so the reverse is not true.

Any shielded cable, be it 50, 75, or whatever nominal impedance is fine. For that matter you could use twisted and/or braided wire. There's just not enough capacitance to roll anything audible off.
