I’m a noob when it comes to trading with Canadians. I’ve got a possible buyer for an $800 amp, but the buyer is in Canada and would prefer to avoid PayPal fees. Is there some type of Money Order he can purchase at a Candian Post Office that I can take to a Post Office here in the U.S. and cash without any problems? Suggestions?

Yes. The opposite is also true : the USPS International Postal Money Orders [pink, unlike the green domestic ones, and somewhat more expensive] are valid in Canada, Japan, and a number of other countries. Tell him to ask for an International Postal Money Order, or IPMO.

Make sure its an international one otherwise it won't work. Its easier to just use a bank issued money order or use Western Union.
