I have a couple questions that need clearing up. If I bought a widescreen T.V. and watched a normal format movie then of course it would be in widescreen format, BUT If I have a widescreen or letterbox version DVD will it mess up the picture because its trying to stretch the picture too far? and if I watched it with lettterbox will the bars still be at the bottom? Thanks

Well, your use of "normal format" and stretch is a bit confusing here.
