Why Would Disk Show Photos in Camera Body, But Read 'No Picture' At Processing Kiosk

    My neighbor's camera(Canon G2) shows photos from a disk when it is inserted in the camera, but at a processing kiosk it says disk is empty.

    Any thoughts on why this might be? Thanks...

    I don't have a lot of experience with digital cameras, but here are some guesses.

    After the Kiosk said it was empty, did your neighbor it in the camera again to see if it still said there were pictures. Maybe the disk got corrupted somehow. What kind of disks does the camera use? (Floppy disks get corrupted quite easily.)

    Another possiblility is that the photos taken by the camera are in a format that the Kiosk can't read.
