Well, maybe I should say from my own experiences, which has lead me to believe that this is the consensus. For instance, two of my white female friends both made the statement, 'I need to lose some weight because my butt is too big'. I replied to both of them with the same response of 'no it's not, you have a nice butt' and BOTH of them said 'well, you black guys like big butts, white men don't think that's attractive' So I didn't come up with this conclusion on my own.

Hmmm... he has a point. Only last week was I having the same conversation with a friend of mine from a different race.
The psysical features members of either race find attractive in women are wildly different and when it comes to butts, it is exactly as LaMarcus said it. If you are the exception, more power to you. Most black men are obsessed with ass to the puzzlement of most white men. Another difference, most black men do not find the skinny supermodel type attractive, most white men do. And many other such things. To deny that would be to take political correctness to the extreme.
Yes, there are exceptions. There are exceptions to everything.

No offense but I think you need to step out of your door a little more often because it has been my experience that the male mental image of attractive is more varied across the "race" lines than some of you guys give credit to.

LMAO. This is hilarious. You guys can't be getting offended or insulted on the debate of ASS and how it is viewed and preferred by different cultures and races.
I mean, it's not like someone said if you don't like a fat ass then your a idiot, or if you like small butts then your a moron. Give me a break guys. There are differences and similarities between us all, and there will always be some exceptions.
None of this is law though, your not bound by it. 9 times out of ten I like a big butt woman, but sometimes I may prefer a smaller butt woman (I don't know when but I might.:p)) But, do you hear how ridiculous it sounds for me to defend and explain my preference of the butt? lol Lightin up guys, give me a break.

1. People who say that Jennifer Lopez has a big butt remind me of gay stylists who really prefer skinny teen boy butt and consider anything bigger fat-assed.
2. People who still refer to Kate Moss as being emaciated are several years behind the times. Kate Moss hasn't been a "waif" since she went into rehab and came out a normal person with her head on straight about her weight. She's since gotten pregnant and looks glowing and healthy and as normal as a fit, naturally small-boned woman would look.

Hey I'm not angry in the least, I just take exception to the whole "Most white guys like this and most black guys like that, and to think otherwise is Political Correctness" argument.
Personal sexual/sensual taste (in my experience at least) is widely varied across age, race and societal lines, that's all I'm saying.
I admit however that my "Step out the door" line was kind of presumptuous but I thought the "To deny that would be to take political correctness to the extreme" line was pretty presumptuous as well. It came across to me as if that was suggesting that to see similarities between the races instead of seeing differences was nothing but PC...I don't know if that was the intention but that is kind of how it read out and if it was then I disagree.
But hey, one man's "Fat Ass is another man's "Phat Ass".
