Glad to see your name here. As Chief Scoutmaster of the "cables sound different" camp, I have been under siege!
By the way, hope you had a great vacation.
I am putting together a little cable test in NYC and have invited Chu so far. Do you want to got to Manhattan for participation in the test? and/or help design a fair, objective test? Any specific cables you recommend. It might be nice to get an audiophile firm like Analysis Plus or Goertz or Kimber that has equated certain metrics to sound differences to add a further scientific element and see if we can duplicate their own internal tests.
I am working on recording studio space and I will fly up from Atlanta to be involved for setup and participation.
Please note we are only going to identify better/worse sound and will not try to identify specific cables although you and I might be able to do that on certain brands. I want to make this as night and day sonically as possible on a reasonable yet high resolution system.
