Subject says it all.... what's the chance of getting a widescreen re-release of Ron Howard's underrated movie "The Paper"?

You know, Ron Howard has done a lot of films from Universal to this day, and yet they continue to neglect a lot of his earlier work for proper DVD releases. The Paper, Parenthood, and Backdraft, all his films, either have 4:3 or non-16:9 transfers.

I love of all three of these films, especially the Paper. Why this flim is so neglected I'll never know. Outstanding performances by everyone involved.

I broke down and rented the DVD once, and when I zoomed it to 1.78:1 on my set, it looked like it was framed properly. I'm pretty sure the DVD is open matte. Still, a new DVD is definitely in order.
