Why no polling functionality? (1 Viewer)

The "vote here" thread has got to be a very unwieldy way of doing things. vBulletin has a poll feature where you can enter multiple choice etc - I've seen it in use over at AVSForum among others.

Why isn't that feature here and wouldn't it have made more sense to use that functionality to do the voting? That would have given everyone a better overview of how the numbers run.

I never implemented it because it would get abused. Yes, I could have implemented it for that particular request but we wanted to get the feedback from the membership at the time and the poll had already started before I even thought about implementing it.

I am aware of all the functions of vBulletin and if you don't see them here and see them somewhere else it is because we have decided not to implement it on this board.
