Hi all,
Reading the Tomita thread reminded me that I wanted to ask this question a few weeks back. I've been listening to a lot of electronic music for many years. In fact, I have a Live365.com radio station for it. I keep listening to Jarre and Vangelis and Synergy and Roach and Ciani and Tangerine Dream and countless others which lend themselves to being remastered in multichannel audio. Forget about gimmics and stereo vs. 5.1, these albums are practically BEGGING for 5.1 audio. After listening to DSoTM and Tubular Bells in 5.1 I'm convinced that done right, there are a lot of electronic albums that could seriously compete and stand out against the best rock or classical albums. I can't imagine what Oxygene or Equinoxe or Heaven and Hell or Structures From Silence would sound like in 5.1
So...any news on any electronic titles getting the 5.1 nod?
Mike
