Why is there 3 different versions of Conan The Destroyer for Region 2 and none for R1 (1 Viewer)

I know that many people do not like this title. However I find it very odd that there would be 3 differnt versions. One from France, Germany, and Japan.. They are enhanced for widescreen and include english 5.1
They have a documentary and commentary..
they do not have the uncut version.. the region 1 is not enhanced for widescreen and is in mono.
Everyone has there own taste in movies.. some like pearl harbor and some like braveheart.. everyone also has a pet project for an SE on dvd.
I am not asking for you to bash conan.. why there is no Region 1 SE..

PS: there is a petition for the uncut version in the feedback to the studios.. there is an audience for conan the destroyer SE for region 1.

There are a lot of good releases that we don't have. I don't understand why it takes so long sometimes for us to get our own movies or have them done in the right manner (16x9 enhanced, etc.)

Conan The Destroyer is available in Region 1. I KNOW I've seen a pretty bare product in Future Shop in Canada at least.
