Why is my local reception so screwy? (1 Viewer)

I have a Hughes E-86 sat reciever, and hooked up to it is a Jensen Amplified antenna, model TV920. Mylocal programming comes in at 100% on mt sat's strength meter most of the time. But every few minutes it will drop to about 20% for a second, then pop back up to 100% again. During this time I ofcourse get pixilization and freezes for a moment, and it is driving me crazy!! What can be causing this? Can I fix it somehow? I have repositioned the antenna eith no help. I live in Boynton Beach, Fl, and am talking about WFLX, Fox 29.

I'm about 5 miles from the Minneapolis/St Paul broadcast towers, and I intermittently encounter the same reception issues when viewing HD content with my MyHD tuner card.

I've considered that it may be due to temporary multipath conditions as a result of airplane(s) passing nearby.
