Why is it that Debra Messing is always ..um.. chilly? (1 Viewer)

Is it just me or does it seem like in every Will & Grace episode Debra Messing displays her nipples? Not trying to sound like a pig, but this must be a concerted effort since it's blatantly obivous. I'm just curious as to why... No complaints here... =)

Have you ever been in as a studio test audience? Even with all those blaring hot lights shining down on the actors, for the most part, the studio usually sets the temperature at freezing level...it is cold, especially if you're not moving a lot, you can get really cold in there, especially if you have to sit there watching for 3-5 hours of taping (yes, it takes that long to do one 30-min sitcom).

It takes much longer than 5 hours to tape an episode. However, it's clearly a conscious decision on behalf of Messing and/or the W&G producers. For example, none of the "Friends" experience it to an extreme.

None of the Friends experience it to an extreme?!?!? Every third show or so, Aniston is severely affected... Even my wife has made remarks. I, however, rarely notice it

Every now and then Courtney Cox Arquette also gets the headlights going pretty well. Lisa Kudrow seems to be immune.

It takes much longer than 5 hours to tape an episode.

I've been to a W&G taping and it generally doesn't take longer then five hours to tape this show. In fact I believe they said it generally takes around four to four and a half-hours to film an episode of W&G.
Of course other shows could and can take longer, in fact the warm up comedian at W&G made a joke about Friends sometimes taking nine hours to film. Since I've never been to a Friends taping I'll take his word for it.
By the way, it really wasn't that cold in the studio during the taping for the audience and I image that it is a little warmer on the stages with all the lights.
Perhaps Debra Messing is just like so many other women that I know who are just very sensitive to temperature conditions.

The thing I noticed was it seemed she was braless in the one scene toward the beginning when she was in Karen's doorway. But yes she seems to be very sensitive just liek the girls on Friends.

She's usually braless... Maybe she just has naturally perky nipples and it's nothing to do with temperature. Maybe she's just happy to see you...

Hmmm...for some reason I've never noticed the "condition" on Friends. However, I seem to always notice it on Messing from her Ned and Stacey days to the present!
