why get an integrated HDTV? (1 Viewer)

I was planning on getting the Mits 65869 with an HD tuner in the unit. Will this tuner decode a Direct TV HD signal if one has a sat reciever. If not, what is needed and generally how much $$. Does direct TV do HD for non HBO, showtime, discovery stuff. do they send out sports programming for instance?
Maybe I should get a unit w/o the HD tuner. I want the local OTA HD if sat does not send HD programming like network sports.

Since the HD satellite receivers will decode OTA, you really don't need one in your TV unless you go with Dishnetwork. The 6000 model receiver has optional OTA capability.
