Why does my Mits RP TV keep resetting the contrast? (1 Viewer)

Hi all-

I have set and reset the F*#!ing contrast to midway a half dozen times in the setup.
A couple months will go by, and I start to see the ghosting of white titles on a black background,
so I check the contrast...and sure as hell the damn tv has reset itself to maximum contrast again.
It's a Mitsubishi diamond series 55" model WS-55908

Anyone else have this situation?
A cure?

thanks!

Could there be periodic power outages (even small split second ones) that cut the power off long enough to reset the TV's settings? Sometimes we have this happen late late at night or while we're at work. We always know because we have a clock that resets itself after a power outage.

Sounds crazy but may very well be the cause.

I have a Mitsu WS65511, and it holds settings with no problem through power outages. I think there is a battery for just that purpose, and yours may be bad....?
