Why does Man Bites Dog - Criterion DVD have 2 covers? (1 Viewer)

I noticed that this Criterion has 2 different covers. Actually, the covers are the same, but the titles are done differently. One has the film title and stars names in the top right corner right under the Criterion Title. The other one Ive seen has the title in huge letters on the bottom left corner of the cover. Whats up with that?

Hmmm, so many views, yet not a bit of help.

If you've seen the covers online, they might be different stages of it's design. That's happened with a number of titles.

As for the film, I don't think much of it but it has lots of fans. It's sort of Blair Witch done as a college thesis on violence and the media. Not nearly as clever as it admires itself for but worth a rental if it sounds interesting.
