On the show, they both thought it was one of the best comic book movies.

Personally I wanted to see this whether or not critics liked it but it is nice to see that it got good reviews from Ebert and Roeper.

In fact, Ebert is one of the very few top critics to give it a positive review.

In this week's show, Ebert & Roeper gushed over DareDevil so much -- they even gave it an extended segment -- that I was surprised Roger Ebert only gave it 3 stars, his lowest "thumbs up" rating.

BTW, was anyone else bugged by Ebert's constantly shifting views on CGI effects? Last year, he slammed Spiderman for having some fakey looking CGI-effects in some scenes -- so much so that he gave it a negative review just for this reason. But now he praises the CGI-effects in DareDevil as being more convincing, even though I don't think they don't look any better than the ones in Spiderman.
