Why does Avia say calibrate to 85db on some tests, and 70 on the sub test?

I am just starting the calibration routine w/ the radio shack SPL meter, and I am not sure why Avia says calibrate speakers to 85db on some tests, and 70 on sub warble. What gives?

** Could it mean that during the sub warble you lower the overall volume on the receiver to around 70db to listen for dropoffs?

I could have sworn it said to "at least" 70 dB on SPL to use the test. That portion of the instruction isn't meant to help get you to a specific level, but to make sure you have the volume up high enough to make the test easy to use.
