Why did Amazon send me a weird "About A Boy" DVD? (1 Viewer)

So, I placed an order for several DVDs from Amazon.com (not Amazon.ca). But the "About A Boy" DVD appears to be a weird American/French hybrid with features listed in both languages on the back and the title of the movie in both languages on the front and side. Now, I would guess that this is the version they are releasing in Canada for the whole French/English crowd. And, when I checked the scanned cover of the About A Boy DVD that DVD Empire sells, it was different and completely in English. However, when I looked a little further and checked the UPCs, they were the same. The features are all the same so this isn't a big deal but I'm curious as to what happened? Thanks.

Sounds like they're sending out cheaper Canadian stock on the sly - if you ain't happy, you're more than justified in returning it. Explain you bought the USA version specifically to avoid bilingual packaging.
