I've been looking for the ORIGINAL versions of two songs from the 70's:

    1) "(Fool) If You think Its Over" - by Chris Rea originally on the album "Whatever Happened to Benny Santini?"

    2) "I Know this Night Won't Last Forever" - by Michael Johnson originally on the album "Dialogue".

For some unknown reason its difficult/impossible to find these two songs in their original versions on cd. Can anyone tell me where to find these old songs on cd or at least give a valid reason for their scarcity. In my searches on the internet, I've found other people who have voiced their frustration at not being to find these two songs, don't the record companies see that there is money to be made here?

Have you tried "Collector's Choice Music," www.ccmusic.com? I did a seach, they do have an album by Chris Rea. You can also send them an E-Mail if you are looking for stuff.
