Considering I have the whole Fleischer/Famous Superman series already thanks to the Ultimate Collection, I don't really see the point of this.

Are the two featurettes new to this collection? Or were they previously included in earlier Ultimate Collector's Edition Superman Metal Box Set from WHV?

The original restorations from the Ultimate Collection feature mangled soundtracks, glitches, and the opening to the first short repeated on other subsequent cartoons. This would be a great chance to fix all that.

Great news Warner!!

I'll be happy to pick this one up, especially since I don't have, nor want the Ultimate Collection.

Great news! Thanks, WHV.

Like previous posters, I don't have, or want, the Ultimate Collection and this looks to be a bargain priced but attractive collection.

This is a very welcome release! I'll gladly upgrade from my old Image edition.

For anyone like me who has the superman sets, its a pointless release. Not only that, but these will probably be the exact same transfers, mistakes and all.

I bought the movies in HD but diidn't want to have to buy them in SD, just for the cartoons.

I have seen them on SD from the Ultimate set and they are night and day to anything that has ever been released before that.

If you've seen how beautiful the 3 WB cartoons look on the HDDVD/BD of "The Adventures of Robin Hood," can you just imagine how these would look too!!!

Great news on this. I also wish this was a blu-ray release as well, and hope they fix any glitches from their previous release.

I will be pre-ordering this one!
