If anyone's played the Jampack, you know about this game.
This is one hell of a hard game for me to pin down. An adventure, platform, puzzle solving, action game.
I can say first and foremost, it (FOR ME) was one of those gaming experiences that just leaves you without words....and this is just the demo.
It's hard for me to explain the ethereal, atmospheric experience it was. The eerie castle, the feeling of being so insignificant in the massive rooms, the sounds of silence only broken by your footsteps and the hollow, lifeless wind blowing.
...it blew me away.
It's such a strange experience that you either "get it" or, you don't.
As for the graphics, anyone that believes the PS2 can't do textures worth a crap, needs to take a look at this piece of software. Looking up at the outside walls of the castle reveal amazing texture detail, without endless repetition.
Looks like the gameplay is going to be killer as well. I love the teamwork idea and the fact that there is no interface...no lifebar, no hit meter...just what you see.
This "experience" is very high on my list of must haves for this fall season. I can't wait to dive into the complete story.
