I REALLY hope this trend continues. You have no idea how bad I would love to have season sets of Giligan's Island.
Oh yeah...I would take Brady Bunch and The Flintsones too. :D

Someone else out there actually liked "Misfits of Science?" I thought I was the only one who appreciated that show. Not exactly holding my breath for a DVD release ... but I would snap it up if I found it one day...
And then there's "VR.5." Along with "Misfits," one of the most ridiculously under-appreciated TV shows ever.
I see a pattern here. The shows I like get cancelled after one season... :frowning:

Many, many more I can't think of right now.

I am a big fan of TV shows on DVD (season sets) but unfortunately can't buy as many as I would like because of the $$ involved. However, shows I would definitely buy include:

Sports Night
NewsRadio
The Critic
Married...With Children (at least the first 6 or 7 seasons, maybe the later ones)
Quantum Leap
Police Squad (come on Paramount - it was only 6 episodes!)
Seinfeld
Get a Life

just to name my most wanted ones at the top of my list (in no particular order).

I'm going to be spending a fortune just on TV sets alone in August and September with Simpsons Season 2 (finally), Mary Tyler Moore Season 1, Schoolhouse Rocks (technically a TV set IMO), Jeffersons and Sanford & Son (probably). And who knows if C/T will release season 2 of Larry Sanders and All in the Family in the fall - I'll get those.

Wasn't Quantum Leap an MCA/Universal Prod. Guess we will never see this series in DVD. Sigh.

My aunt informed me I must mention Get Smart as the only two shows she cares about is "I Love Lucy" and "Get Smart" and if "Get Smart" ever comes out on DVD, she will finally crack down and get a DVD player.

I want "Get Smart" too.

Gord, I started this thread to discuss how amazing it is that we are getting these shows. Yet it has morphed into "What I want on dvd thread". Just shows you the demand for tv shows.

Yeah, it's crazy Todd. I bet most people don't know how many TV releases there are. Before I started my site I thought there were 50 or so. HAH...was I ever wrong. There are pver 1300 DVDs listed on TVShowsOnDVD.com and I have probably another 350 on a list to add. It's amazing.

Gord, that's just the ones ON the list. How many times do we spot something that's not in the database and not on the to-add list? I just found three releases this morning that qualify. Sheesh. I'll get 'em in, though.
