If you watched the now defunct XFL, you might have

    noticed "He Hate Me."

Well, "He Hate Me" might be on the field for the

    Eagles this weekend.

    Ain't life unpredictable?

wow...it's amazing how a couple injuries and a drug-related arrest can get even the worst players into the nfl.

This is quite embarassing to Philadelphia Eagles fans

I remember being in Las Vegas the night of the inaugural XFL game between Las Vegas and, uh, whatever other team they played. I would not describe the city as tingling with anticipation. Frankly, it was a non-event.

"He Hate Me" was the first indication the venture was doomed from the start. Jesse Ventura as color man was the second.

I feel sorry for the poor devils still trying to flog what appears to be a bottomless pit of XFL merchandise on EBay. A lot of companies must have taken a bath on the assumption it was going to be anything other than a disaster.

oh and on a sidenote, Rod Smart (He Hate Me) is the first cousin for the Eagle first choice in the draft, Freddie Mitchell.

Not that that's important, just kinda interesting

Darn Mark, you beat me to the name. Yes, I remember Rod Smart, it would be interesting to see if he does anything this weekend. He wasn't the best RB by far in the XFL, but will give a decent comparison. My guess is that he fumbles his first play of the game, and they replace him with the Veteran Stadium janitor.

The Eagles signed him about a month and a half ago, his signing had nothing to do with their off the field troubles.

    Yeah I remember him.
I remember wondering why he wasn't They Hate Me.
When asked why he had "He Hate Me" on the back of his jersey, in the first XFL game, he pointed to the other sideline and said "because they hate me over there!"
The funniest was that he had a look that was more scared or accusatory than anything! It wasn't a line delivered out of arrogance like I thought it should have been...
