I always crack up when they play that clip in Vanilla Ice's Behind The Music episode:
"Get rid of the zero and get with the hero!" [IMG]
Hey the DP for the film is Janusz Kaminski, who is now Speilberg's DP. I guess you gotta start off somewhere.

Snow's actually still pretty big in Canada. A few months ago, you couldn't have MuchMusic on for more than 15 minutes without the video for "The Plumb Song" coming on...

Adam I'd just like to clarify, snow is big in canada, but he hasn't been big this whole time.
I swear after informer he dissapeared, then re-appeared.
We have not been listening to him for the past 8 yrs straight [IMG]

I bought the laserdisc for $7. Yes I am a sick man.
By the way, a friend claims it had the shortest theatrical run in hollywood history. Less than a week. Can anyone elaborate on the truth of this?

Maybe they could make a two-pack with "Cool as Ice" and "Gymkata"?

I think the SNL movie Pat might give it a run for "shortest theater time" [IMG]

You're right Mark, Satan does indeed own the rights to his title.
I made a call to the home video department down there and apparently they are planning a deluxe tin. There was a dispute over who owned the rights to Vanilla's soul after his career fizzled so quickly (Vanilla's representation was arguing that having only 13 minutes of fame instead of the required 15 put Satan in breach. To which Satan's lawyer's simply replied 'that's showbiz baby'.)
What's not in dispute though are all the ancillary rights, which Satan clearly purchased outright - so the DVD edition is on its way. I'd advise waiting on this one though - after the 'rap star's' death they are rumored to be issuing an edition including cenotypes with an actual piece of his soul. As well as pogs.
