FreemantleMedia (a large worldwide conglomerate) appears to have the rights to the Thames back catalog. They licensed the rights for "The Tomorrow People" series to Revelation Films for Region 2 DVDs (but coded Region 0 luckily). Freemantle's website at http://www.pearsontv.com/ confirms that they own Thames now. I would assume that any Region 1 DVD releases would need to be licensed through a third party.

HBO has a license to most of Thames TV titles here in the US. They recently released "Rumpole of The Bailey" series 1&2.
